• Bonus: £3,000–£5,000 per year

Insightful Recruitment is working with a busy, successful optical practice in Sale to recruit a confident Optical Assistant. This role would suit someone who enjoys delivering great customer service, supporting colleagues and helping a busy practice run smoothly.

The Role

As an Optical Assistant, you will:

• Welcome patients and provide a friendly, professional experience
• Support customers throughout their eyewear journey
• Assist with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
• Help keep the team focused and organised during busy periods
• Support colleagues and help them understand their responsibilities
• Work towards individual and practice targets
• Take on additional responsibility as a key holder
• Provide extra support when the Practice Manager is unavailable
• Contribute to the customer service and commercial performance of the practice

You will need:

• Previous experience working in an optical practice
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confidence supporting and motivating colleagues
• A reliable, organised and responsible approach
• Commercial awareness and confidence working towards targets
• The ability to remain calm and focused in a busy environment
• A willingness to take on key-holder responsibilities
• Flexibility to work five days across seven, including every Sunday and alternate Saturdays
• Ambition and an interest in progressing your optical career
