Optometrist – Southampton

Location: Southampton
Hours: Three days per week, including Saturdays
Salary: £70,000–£75,000 FTE, pro rata, depending on experience
Test times: 30 minutes

Are you an Optometrist looking for a part-time role in Southampton? Join an established local optical practice where you can provide attentive eye care and build strong relationships with patients.

With 30-minute test times, you’ll have time to deliver thorough appointments and help create a positive patient experience.

The role

• Conduct eye examinations and provide high-quality clinical care
• Explain findings and options clearly to patients
• Work collaboratively with the practice team
• Help maintain a welcoming, professional environment

What we’re looking for

• GOC registration
• A patient-focused approach and clear communication skills
• The ability to work well as part of a team
• Availability for three days per week, including Saturdays
