Location: Paisley, Scotland
Salary: Up to £52,000 FTE, depending on experience
Hours: 3, 4 or 5 days per week, Monday to Friday
Working hours: 9:00am–5:30pm
Holiday: 33 days’ annual leave
The opportunity
An independent opticians in Paisley is looking for an Optometrist to join the team as the practice moves into a new chapter under new management.
There’s flexibility to work 3, 4 or 5 days a week, with a consistent weekday pattern to be agreed with the successful candidate.
The role
You’ll provide comprehensive eye examinations and patient-focused care in a welcoming independent setting. Appointments are scheduled for 30 minutes, giving you time to understand each patient’s needs and provide a thorough clinical service.
You’ll be the practice’s sole Optometrist, so you’ll need to feel comfortable working as the only optometrist on site and managing the clinical testing independently. You’ll have support from an Optical Assistant.

About you
You’ll be a GOC-registered Optometrist who takes pride in delivering excellent patient care. You’ll be confident working independently as the sole Optometrist, while enjoying being part of a friendly practice team.
